Huawei’s flagship device for this year, the 10-inch MediaPad 10 HD seems to be set for a US release. Back in last month, the device had appeared in a teaser video, and was expected to be launched in Asia by the month of August. The device has now got clearance from FCC, and it definitely means that it is coming to US soon.
The 10-inch MediaPad seems to be an impressive offering from Huawei, with their quad core processor. The 10.1 inch IPS display offers a 1920 x 1200 resolution, and 1.5GHz Huawei K3V2 is the power behind the device, with 16 graphics processing cores. There will be an 8MP rear camera, 2GB of RAM and a 24.4 Whr battery available from the system. The tablet features an 8.8mm metallic case design, with a stunning new look. Android 4.0 is the OS used. Now the device is approved for Wi-Fi capabilities only, and there will be a 4G LTE model on the way.
